Alongside designing all the products for 'Beyond the Fridge', Amanda still finds time for printmaking which has become a particular passion since Art School. Unsurprisingly, screen printing is her medium of choice, as it goes hand in hand with her graphic design origins.

Amanda is inspired by many things, the sea being a favourite and returning theme. She is frequently to be seen at her allotment with a sketchbook in hand (it makes a break from digging!) and likes to work with Picasso's well known quote in mind, 'I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them.' Consequently her work is both imaginative and idiosyncratic.
